And you all dated yourselves really badly. Do you think any of the yung'ns every hear that song. Notice the stations playing 50s music and the like are dissappearing and being replaced by classic rock. Only in medium size markets do you hear good old classics and the new stuff on the same station. Big city kids rarely listen to classic stations (not Mozart either) unless forced to by dad while riding in the car.

AWAD- CAn't wait until my son hears me jamming to a Tool song and says "that weak ass music"

You know, My kids say the same thing. Always followed by "DAD, get with it!!"

To which I say. " I used to be "with it" but then they changed what "it" was. What "it" is now is weird and scary to me.

You let your kids know your not with it?????How do you expect to teach them about it, back in the day.

I listen to my kids music, and they listen to mine. It's good to share....

lol, you'd be suprised. I'm in 8th grade and listen to stuff like Linkin Park, or Limp Bizkit, or Adema. Still, my dad got me hooked on Van Halen, AC/DC, Joe Satriani...hehe, I love my 80's music. Heck, Billy Joel's "We didn't start the fire" is in my player as I type =)
