Overview:
    In 3150 Star Corps Industry would roll off a new variant of the Carronade designated the
    CRN-8M. Exploiting their ability to acquire limited amounts of clan-quality technology, the
    Carronade 8M would feature a Clan HAG 30 in place of the Silver Bullet Gauss. The Mass of
    the gun would require the complete redesign of the left arm to support the new armament.
    Other then the radical redesign of the left arm however, it would remain unchanged from its
    predecessor, mostly for ease of production. The small number of HAGs Star Corps could
    acquire would limit the production numbers of the 8M drastically. Ultimately it would not
    replace the 7M as the primary variant of the mech
