Variants:
    The HK3 model of the Phoenix Hawk LAM was an attempt to make the ?Mech better at its primary
    job. To do this, the machine guns and their ammo were removed to provide room for two
    additional tons of fuel. The design also had double strength heat sinks installed, dropping
    the extra pair that were no longer required, giving it the ability to carry a pair of bomb
    bays. Finally, the large laser has been replaced by an extended range model. Although still
    not able to truly compete against either true BattleMechs nor true Aerospace Fighthers one
    on one, these changes have made the design much more versatile. The
