As an FYI, if you want to create an OmniMech configuration, you can load the BASE config. If the BASE config is a Canon design, you'll be allowed to create an alternate configuration (as you don't have rights to edit the BASE). Doing this nets you the following "benefits":
- You won't need [BASE] in the Name/Model
- OmniMech variant construction rules are enforced (heat sinks, fixed, equipment, etc)
