The Mad Dog G's origins lie in a study of the C variant of the 'mech.

Determined to squeeze more firepower out of the design, Jade Falcon technicians replaced the
bulky Gauss Rifles with ER PPCs, saving enough weight for a medium rapid firing autocannon
and an advanced targeting computer.
Deployment:
The Mad Dog G has begun to appear as a standard configuration in Jade Falcon frontline
clusters, where it has been well received.
