The FanPro Commandos are proud to announce the inaugural issue of the Commando Quarterly! This fanzine dedicated to Classic Battletech is produced by the Commandos for the fans of Classic Battletech. Future issues will be published in the months of January, April, August, and October.

Good idea, but you might want to think about a web-based version for those that only have internet access at work and can't download stuff.

Well, it only took 3 weeks for me to get around to downloading it. I wish I'd done it sooner.
It contains 2 great articles, one about light mechs and the other about creating terrain using household trash (yes, I'm not kidding). Also included are 2 scenarios that look very well balanced and I look forward to playing both.
There's a lot of other decent stuff in there too--I don't want to give it all away. The only "drawback" is its an almost 4 meg download so it may take awhile for dial-up connections.
But in my opinion it will be worth the wait.
