I have been wondering for a while about why don't have more on the minor House families that were at one point a major source of trouble for ALL the Houses and then kind of just vanished after the whole Jihad.
Going with the idea that having these fleshed out and say a book, maybe two, would allow the players to have more plot hooks and ideas as well as allow for mercs to have lords to pay them etc...

Totally agree on this. In fact it was the entire point of the Tikonov revolt wasn't it? That Hanse Davion had taken advantage of local upset in a minor house? That would have made for a great overall 4th succession war - small minor houses revolting along borders and proxy wars being fought between the great powers.
