Variants:
Designed as a true anti-air platform, the RFL-3A Rifleman replaces its high heat/medium
range heavy lasers and medium caliber autocannon with paired small caliber/long-range
autocannons in each arm. With each pair feeding from their own ton of ammunition, the
machine can maintain air cover for its unit for nearly four full minutes of continual fire
before needing replenishment. Although each individual shot does limited damage, the
combination of range and potential hits in the various control surfaces of incoming aircraft
make this design particularly hazardous for any enemy fighters or bombers attacking its
unit.
