in weapons tech for the Inner Sphere?
Will they work to improve their pulse lasers or go awhole new route on these?
Will we see more variants of the Autocannons?
Or will see smarter missiles?
Or lighter PPCs?
Or will there not be anymore improvements as things spiral down to the war against the WoB?

Based on some of the "improvements" they've made I'm not sure I'm ready yet for the next "upgrade".

Point taken...but there are some areas that would could be improved...well made equal without killing game balance. But I do agree to much can be as bad as to little.

There's always my Light Ultras.
They weigh 2 tons less than the standard Ultra varients for the AC/2 and /5. The LUAC/2 has 2 crits and the LUAC/5 uses 4.
They have the same range and heat as the Light Autocoannons, but there is a catch. Due to their small size, the feed is fragile. A 3 or 4 jams, and a 2 means a piloting skill roll. Failure means that the round misfires in the chamber- the round does damage internally and destroys the weapon.

I can't keep track of the systems now! I hope they don't make any more in the near future. Although I can see the IS making ATMs.

Let me put your worries at rest. The arms race is over, we won't be doing any new tech or 'Mechs for a long time to come. We've got better things planned for the future.

Okay, no NEW tech, but will any of the stuff that is LVL 3 become LVL 2 anytime soon? XPLs? Streak LRMs?

No. No Tech level changes either, but as always this could change if I can convence Randall to make Improved CASE to levevl II.

| I think that right now the techs between Clan and IS are even. The only new tech I would like is for things like Solaris(not the rules, just 1v1) where new rules would make sense and not slow down agame.
