I'd rather avoid these energy-heavy configurations on Owens due to SHSs. There are no JJs to let you disengage easily and if you alpha and move, you are at 12 heat, so down to 6/9. Maybe the supercharger can save you, but for me it's a rather uncomfortable prospect. _________________ The dragon NEVER sleeps!

I personally don't mind overheating, but I prefer it to be a result of firing all weapons that are intended for different range brackets. In essence, the "Oh crap!" situations. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

I'd say this is one of those times that standard medium lasers would be better than extended range ones...

If you put up cedar boards up in the cockpit and keep water in there, you can have a nice sauna while you are shutdown due to overheating... _________________ Sir Henry

Indeed, or using just three of the ERs and something else. I can't help myself but Owens chassis was made with missiles in mind. _________________ The dragon NEVER sleeps!
