Is the Sagittaire a munchy mech and would a Clan version be even more munchy?

There is already a clan verison. It is called a Black Python(Viper).
I forgot which tonnage the Sag is. The Viper is 75 tons and armed to the teeth with pulses. Small, medium, and large ones.
But to answer your question. In my opinon. yes. It is nothing more than a pulse monster. That any good pilot could defeat with a little thinking.

The newest mech called the Sagittaire, That was introduced at the battle of Monte Diablo. I was partnered with it in my Enfield. Nasty mech. Pulse lasers and a TC. If it tageted you. You where hit.

Despite its Pulse/TC combo I don't find the Sagittaire munchy. The combo of IS pulse lasers and slow speed reduce its effectiveness quite a bit. In my Monte Diablo game the Sagittaire just hung around sniping at the enemy with its large pulse lasers, and then it got head-capped by the Fafnir. I wasn't real impressed, and my own Bushwacker turned out to be a greater threat to enemies then the Sag.
Personally, I would rather pilot an old Awesome then a Sag.

Who ever picked the name for what is now the Sagittairre didn't do his or her homework...for something that is named after late 4th Century AD Roman Skirmish archers this mech is no where near modeling that heritage and I am willing to bet the same idea could be done on 65 tonner and still have close to the same weaponary...hmm...I think I will work on doing that tonight...

According to one player, the mech is awesome and he claims it can take out any mech in the TROs with out to much trouble...I heard this same claim about the Behemoth mech, and saw that mech dropped more them once by lights and mediums.
But you do have to love the offical MUNCHKIN mech and think, one would think that TPTB would get the hint after hearing the fans complain FOR YEARS about Targ/Pulse mechs and how they over kill everything, but nope, they go head and GIVE the munchkins the green light to build even more no skill, no brain mechs and then can't understand WHY the other 70% of the players are upset or ticked off...must be that new math or something, or maybe it's the earplugs.
