Cause you told me so back in first game?
I'm trying very hard to play my stupidest game of BT since ever, always shooting at the easiest target.
Well, second easiest, but the easiest target would have meant a lot less points.

The Turtle won't be worth any points until his armor is gone, and it's not really that close yet. One of the most dangerous 'mechs on the board, the Berserker, is doing nothing but shooting at the Turtle and scores very few points. By doing that, Merl essentially eliminates himself as the game goes on.
It's poor battlefield tactics to shoot at Merl.

Points, chihawk. Which is the point you made in the first game where I played well and all for naught.
In this game, I'll shoot randomly at anything that I can hit, eschewing Robin and Pa Weasley unless forced to. Which happened to me one turn and I scored a glorious 5ish points.
It also means hell will freeze over before I shoot at Vagabond or you.
Oh noes, all the sooper sekrit tactics out in the open! Herpaderpdurr.

Well, unless you're aligned with Merl, he's completely fair game, regardless of what he's doing. And I know for some, the difference between Merl and Ronin wasn't much of a decision based on to-hit numbers and what-not. A few folks out there don't have weapons that reach that far, so shooting closer targets is the only viable option.

It's sickening to think that right front leg (the closest one to being internal, has taken 69 points of damage, and STILL has 15 to go! I will say this, chihawk is right in that you should have been the primary target for everyone!!

Well, considering I likely won't run a game with advanced or experimental tech for a while (once is enough), the answer will be no.

Cool, that sounds good cause I kinda hate that stuff.... Hardened armor takes the fun outta the game... but does give a lotta staying power. Unfortunately, there is always some better tech at every tech level that is more powerful than others.
