That's what I was thinking at first as well. I'm actually kind of fond of partial wings. You get the extra movement plus the added heat dissipation. All for just 2.5 tons.

its a trade off decision, which I like. 6 crits and some tonnage for the POSSIBILITY at extra jump range. If you ever operate on a planet without the right atmosphere, its a ball and chain instead of redbull.

I always liked the 3025 Spider. This is a very nice upgrade that keeps the spirit of the original.
