I don't want to argue with you, I left the SRMs there just because I like them. The design is death-trap if you want to take part in heavy combat.

Perhaps that's what the designers wanted? People will fight if they think the enemy looks weak, but lacking CASE gives you some reason to avoid battle.

You have to realize there seems to be a large segment of the community that seems to think that this is and should be common practice to use every light mech as a assult hunter. Youll find that unless every light mech mounts several weapon systems it is seen as undergunned and there for no good.
(admittedly its a practice I dont like.I prefer lights for scouting and raiding)

This one was designed as scout (3K) and spotter (3K1), well armed, but still just scout. It's speed should be best defense and running to base to report the gathered intelligence should be the best tactic
