I liked the modern music, especially the sstarting joust with the Queen classic song. To me it seemed the message of the movie was that jousting was the medieval version of football. (And maybe stock car racing) All that bashing and crashing and the helmet flying into the stands? Kinda reminded me of a football game. _________________ "Those who beat their guns into plows will plow for those with guns..." -Thomas Jefferson

More like I have two ideas for the direction of each story but not sure which to go with...

I saw it.
It didn't have any hardcore ful frontal nudity, but it was an enjoyable popcorn film. It thought it was a fun little ride.
I'll work on the cross over as I have time.
Still it could have used more hardcore full frontal nudity.

Oddly enough, even the jousting scenes were not correct. They used the wrong armor for the time period (if such pieces actually existed), and only showed one(?) true suit of jousting armor during the French Jousting event (and that guy lost miserably).
But, if you look at it as a movie that was trying to be timistically (my word) correct, you will be sadly mistaken. If however you look at it as a fun dumb little relaxing movie, the modern references, music and dancing kind of lightens up the whole mood.
I actually truly enjoyed the movie, and my wife who truly HATES period pieces, really got into the jousting scenes, and movie in general.
