==Overview:==
A monstrous beast, few mechs within the Inner Sphere can even dream of
surviving a battle with a Thortuga, let alone winning one.
The forte of the Thortuga appears to be defensive positions in which it
can use its quad construction and twin guass rifles to their fullest
advantage. Should an opposing unit actually manage to close with the machine,
it will now have to face a variety of laser weaponry which is enough to savage
most light and some medium mechs with one volley.
Thus far, Our Blessed Order is currently satisfied with using the machine
to guard the mech factories and our positions in the Free Rasalhauge Republic;
however, if it comes to it we might consider selling some of these machines to
the FRR military as well as shipping some of these units to our facilities
accross the Inner Sphere.
A point of contention however arises from the name. The name Thortuga was
suggested as a joke based on the mech's turtle-like shape. However, as the
word "Thor" is in there, some people have a disdain for it. As such, all
versions of this mech not for use within the ranks of the Com Guard will be
officially known as the Armadillo.
