WizKids, however, is putting out Mechwarrior: Dark Age--which is separate from Classic BattleTech, which is the current ruleset and which will continue to be supported by FanPro.

I'll call them WhizKids, just like I referred to the other company as FA$A.
Clickytech is a bad idea. It will be an even worse product but will do what it is designed to: get that teenager disposible income fad money for a while, until the fad changes and the money runs out.
Mark my words: in 2 years BattleTech will be a dead or dying property.
