Okay, I know that this REALLY isnt Battletech, but hey, its in an open forum, so there.

The World of Darkness is over. The 'world' has come to an end.
Everyone out there whos ever played Vampire: The Masquerade, Werewolf, Mage: The ascention, Mummy, Changeling, Exhalted or any of the other White Wolf titles knows what Im talking about. Gehenna has arrived, and I for one am excited to see whats going to happen. As one world comes to an end, another begins. Its going to be fun to see what the new world holds.
For those of you who are interested, www.white-wolf.com has information. Currently the page contains only the last message from antarctica, and a letter of thanks from everyone at the White Wolf headquarters. If youre unfamiliar with White Wolf, go to a game shop and ask them where they keep the WW stuff. A word of caution, though. Alot of the stuff published in the various game titles is NOT for young audiences. Violence, Nudity, Swearing, and the occasional graphic description of (insert item, act, or place here) is a part of the World of Darkness, just as they are a part of our world.
While you may not like the genre, you might just enjoy the game itself.
Thanks White Wolf.

I played Vampire a lot maybe 4-5 years ago. Always the tabletop rpg, not the live-action. I liked the system and I liked the games. Was a lot of fun. But no one near me plays it anymore. Or at least that I know.

I would play Vampire if I could find some serious players. Unfortunately the guys I play other RPGs with aren't the crew for Vampire.

I think that the Live Action Vampire was possibly the best game produced by White Wolf. Table top games show you whats going on, true. And your character sheet tells you what kind of condition your character is in. But with live action, youre not limited by a board and miniatures. If you want to run from the room, then run!! No, "my character turns to you and says...", turn to the guy and spit it out.
Yeah, the challange system was a little strange. But paper-rock-scisors takes skill.
Unique, Challanging, and the look on your enemies face when you ( politically ) screwed him or her over is soooooo rewarding. The new Prince of Ames had no clue I was a Follower of Set until -after- the votes were counted, and I publicly congradulated him on behalf of the Settites.........

chihawk's had a couple adventures with the live action at TotalCon in the past. Naturally he was drunk (as he often is in the evening at the con).

I once received a "best role player" award for a LARP Vampire game in which I was so drunk I couldn't even see straight.

Someone said I was the best at acting sober he'd ever seen

Acting is best when you don't know it's acting...

I think it was more 'motivational acting' or method acting than anything else.
