That is a really good idea. I’ll see if I have the energy (and the nerves) to implement that in the next update

kinda wierd for a Hunchy to be part of a heavy and assault lance with Atlases and the what nots...

but hey they can be my bullet shield while i stride up and put an AC20 in their face. Unless the Atlas carries my Hunchy as a club, but that's another story.

I think, just as far as 3025 is concerned, the Hunchback is perfectly suited to an assault lance. Just for sharing the same mission profile: walk up leisurely – aim gun – boom – dead!

HAHAHAHA! You know Mordel's TRO, alright!

Actually, my respect would soar greatly if you chose that PRIME! Especially, because I actually think the A is the best variant.

Yeah, my hierarchy would be: A-C-Prime-nothing. I'd prefer to foot-slog it than mount a B!

Sign me up form the Prime then

I like LB autocannons. I can also give covering fire for my Star.

Do you know of the Timberwolf S? It should be in RS: 3060. It jumps, has pulse lasers and SRMs.

I’m reluctant to put down the Timberwolf Pryde – it’s kinda meant to be a unique design. And, well, I’m not noting specific mods on the Clan ‘mechs, so the Timberwolf D would be just that! I’ll let you decide. But check that Timby S

I took a look at the Timberwolf S variant, and it just doesn't do it for me. I have to agree with the overall comments made in its reviews. It doesn't have any long range punch to it all. 1 LPL is it, not very effective at all. I know it is meant for close in fighitng and all, but I like my ride to at least fend off something at range. And I prefer paired weapons, especially on my clan mechs. I'm gonna stick with my modifed D Variant. Though I might switch it around a little bit 5/8/4 instead of 5/8/5, by dropping on SSRM6 and the extra ton of ammo, they are streaks you know, while still switching the 3rd SSRM 6 to forward arc.

Hi. Of course we missed you! And we are still missing a lot of others, too! But remember, I live in the past and had been absent for a long time. I just typed up a whole lot of oldtimers whom I'd not seen in a long time.

(is ANYONE still in contact with Old Dog?)

About your selections:

The Thug is great. But difficult. Is it Star League? Or 3025. It is one of those strange limbo 'mechs. I mean, it shouldn't be a problem. But if you had an alternative, it might fit the unit better.

So Stalker or custom Marauder? 3062 IS is where you get to choose custom variants!

I'll edit your Mad Dog into the above

well I've changed my mind. The Black Hawk A is more my ride, (aka the Nova A for some of you poor peoples).

I love my jump jets too much to ever give them up. Even if its for a mech I love for dueling. As for who, I'd like to be paired with Vampire if it can be swung, I always respected the man. He once posted a light mech manual on his sight, and was very intelligent in his ratings of things.

After that I couldn't care really.

One last thought, you might want to make a completely different thread, and post current roster up on that, and leave this thread for people wanting to notify you of their rides. Just So its easier to find your lists.

editted to add the last paragraph.

Well....

How about this for a Star, assuming all of them are willing.

Star Commander ralgith
SaberDance
StarRaven
Seraph
Wanallo or Nightmare

You guys respond to this if you're willing to run with this arrangement

I like it cause it breaks up the "munchy" mechs a bit.

[edit]
Added Nightmare as an alternate cause I noticed Wanallo didn't have a clan 'mech picked out.

O.K. I have the two latest Goldbug mods up I am assuming that you would want to have the Mordels variant being an earlier mark Right now I have the 3087 version and the other one is about 3070-75 so how far should it be adjusted I figure the ER Micro will have to go How about the other ER mediums right now I have them Clan Tech can they stay or do I down grade to IS and how about the DHS currantly Clan tech in that version.

Easy Motown - whatever suits you! Of course, mixed tech is perfectly fine! As long as it is obvious that the chassis is of IS origin!

And I know that I, for one, won't be very tight with the exact tech levels and dates of equipment. I mean, I am still there driving a 3050 vintage Zeus.

Really, after 3039 I become increasingly lost and wondrous...... At least as far as the IS is concerned!

But as far as I see it, your ride is the Goldbug - whatever the details may be! But actually - didn't you say someone else inherited it? Does that mean that your personal ride is actually something completely different?

Well that is why the time line thing is important the cockpit was modified to fit 4 year old mechwarriors in 3087 the one underneath is the one immediatly preceding that one Like I said the only questionable eqipment on that one is the ER Micro I am not sure if it fits the 3062 time frame

For a clan Mech, my two preferences would be primarily the Ryoken A and B, neat little Mech that fights well and looks great. A is a super punch weapon for close areas and the B scours off armour with missiles and lasers.

My other favorite which is one of my favorite mechs of all time, the Daishi, any variant but particularly the A variant.

However, i kind of went off the Daishi after every single major character in the books seemed to own one, i like to be unique or original and i guess the uber clan Mech isn't exactly original is it?

Put me down for the Ryoken A or B please, whichever fits with the scheme of the roster better!!!
