By sheer coincidence (and i'm not joking), I have the LAM rules right infront of me (I was looking up something on them earlier). It says that and AirMech in Flight "is treated as a VTOL ands uses all the VTOL's movement and elevation rules" (BattleTech Tactical Hand Book, pg 49).
Pg 41 of the Master Rules (in all it's Zeusy goodness): 'All vehicles, with the exception of VTOLs, may make charging attacks.:
No, a LAM may not do a flying tackle, as funny as it would be.
Here's a thought:
If a charging Mech deals 1 point of damage per 10 tons of weight, times the hexes moved, THEN
A Berserker on Full MASC would do (100/10)*8 = 80 damage.
A Dasher on Full MASC would do (20/10)*20 = 40
So, the lightest Mech can do one half the heaviests's charge damage.
Now, before you say to strap TSM on, TSM only doubles the damage from Punch, Kick, Club and Hattchet/Sword attacks.

I am the GM. I therefore rule that air-mechs may make flying tackles, if only for the coolness factor.
I also rule that a Daishi running into a Dire Wolf at full masc speed takes damage as if the Dire Wolf had crashed into them at said speed.
I find humor in the idea of the Wiley Coyote approach to light mech charging.

You realize of course that a Daishi and Dire Wolf are the same thing right?

Some of us never use clan tech so get confused easily.

Didn't take a genius to put 345421.465652 and 12354234.12342 together and get around 12699655.59 and realize what he meant by looking at the previous post or two.
Yea, I know my decimal points are off. I don't have my good calculator handy;)

Calculator is actually one of few (maybe only one, ... no, minefield is another good part ) things working without any known problem.

In general, any MS program about equal in complexity too what you could expect from the average high school programming student usually works pretty well, simply because there's so little for them to screw up. Notepad works fine, but Word... I don't want to discuss Word.
The exception to this is Minesweeper - I never did figure out how it worked.

I love minesweeper. I like to set all the best scores on all my friend's computers. My best on expert is 112 seconds
