The Man O' War is also very expensive in terms of bidding. After all, why bid an assault 'mech when you can get any number of heavies, and a couple of mediums, that can do the same job at a lower bid?
This isn't to say that a well podded MOW doesn't have its advantages. Better armor than some, more heat sinks, more powerful physical attacks, etc. But are the advantages enough? I don't think so. Maybe I'll run a few Ryoken vs. Man O' War duels in megamek tonight.

Nah, meant doing testing the way we did with the 4x Urbies vs. Hunchie hehe. Though more detailed, varying the numbers of mechs a little as well as still swapping back and forth between who plays what.
If I remember correctly the 4x Urbs vs. Hunch came out 2-2 with each of us winning with each type once heh... but maybe I don't remember right too... long time ago.

I think that your mech deserves fair treatment after the battle... and perhaps a few clan guns if they were salvageable

Aye, I'll have to post Ecator on here. She's almost completely clan tech weapon-wise now.
