There's always the Shrek PPC carrier and anything carrying 2 or more clan ERPPC's. But for the most part you're right. Practically useless and lame - that's even worse.

I had an Interresting thought. A while back I read a story in BattleTecnology Magazine in it a BattleMaster got in a fight with a lance of Wasps and Stingers inside a power station.The light Mechs were on a raid to steal hydrogen that was being separated from water there.but the BattleMaster burst on the scene and started slaughtering the light mechs at one point it fired its PPC at a Stinger ,it jumped the PPC blast hit a dynamo .The feed back desrtoyed the BattleMaster.So I wonder what would happen if a PPC blast were to hit a vehicle with an electric charge (like the scrap van featured elsewhere on this forum) in its hull ,say somewhere in the range of 100kv to 1mv?
