That's the number the rules said, and that would fit in his Duel Deck....
It takes a strategy to begin with and moulding the deck as needed...

Well...I'll just keep my 100 card deck for now and adjust as needed/desired...it's worked well for me so far...

Well, played a game of Yu Gi Oh today...actually, 7 games...won the first three (one of which I won without summoning a single monster onto my field, other than some scapegoats), then lost the next three (couldn't summon a monster or the right magic/trap cards to save my life...although one I almost won...had the guy down from 10,600 life points to 100, and he managed to wipe me out in one turn by taking out my last 2400 life points with Great Maju Gazett...I HAVE to get me that card), and then finally won the last one...
Also managed to get 2 Skilled Dark Magician and one Amazoness Swords Woman cards today...great stuff there...the former are 4 star spellcaster/effect cards with 1900 attack normally, and when you have 3 spell counters on the card, you can offer the card and counters as tribute to summon a Dark Magician...the latter has your opponent take the same damage as you do from a battle involving her...drew all three within the first two turns of the first game...
I still like my 100 card deck...now, if only I could find a Dark Magician Girl, a Luster Dragon and a Breaker the Magical Warrior card...

Well, I managed to pull a Breaker the Magical Warrior card tonight...as well as another Amazoness Swords Woman and an Adhesion Trap Hole...
Now just the Luster Dragon and the Dark Magician Girl to go...

Hey...be sure to check out the new Kaiba and Yugi Evolution starter decks...they have some nice stuff in there...
Kaiba's got some new fairly powerful dragons to go with his Blue Eyes White Dragon (the one from the tin, not the original this time) and Lord of Dragons, as well as some other nice cards...
Yugi's starter deck now contains the ritual version of the Black Luster Soldier (the non-ritual version (with an effect) is coming out in the upcoming Invasion of Chaos booster set, along with a non-fusion St. Joan and the Black Magician of Chaos in both ritual and non-ritual forms), Pot of Greed, Kuriboh, Spellbinding Circle, Swords of Revealing Light, and some other sweet cards to go with the traditional Dark Magician (again, the one from the tin instead of the original) and Summoned Skull...
Now comes the hard part...trying to fit all this good stuff into my already crowded deck...

A little of both actually, I get all the rares in them. then sort through all the commons. take what I need for my collection. add some to my decks. then sell or trade off the rest.
I have up to 7 decks now. and working on a 8th.
