I pushed out another site update the other day. While it was small in regards to quantity of changes, a couple of the changes were very large is scope, and required a fair amount of code modifications. The updates are as follows:
Defects
Fixed an issue where designs could not be built when using certain browsers; most notably Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge, due to a bug in the equipment selection dropdown. The code for displaying the equipment list has been revamped and tested. The equipment list, as well as all other functionality, have been confirmed to work in the latest versions of the following browsers:
Chrome (Windows and Android)
Firefox
Internet Explorer
Microsoft Edge
Opera
Safari (Mac)
Enhancements
The following new weapons and equipment have been added and are now available for use. The source the equipment can be found is available in parenthesis:
CASE (Prototype) (Historical: Reunification War)
Narc (Prototype) (Historical: Reunification War)
All available ammunition types have been added to the equipment list. With the addition of the new ammunition types, you now have the ability to do the following:
Add the various ammunition types to your submitted design. This will be the default payload when viewing and printing this unit for use.
When viewing a BattleMech, you can now update the type of ammunition the unit is carrying. This is done by clicking the bomb icon in the upper right (mouse over will show 'Modify ammunition types'). You will be presented with a list of all the ammunition and a pulldown to select a different type per critical location. Upon selecting the type, the view is updated to reflect your selection, and any generated downloads will also use the selected ammunition types. This will allow you to print PDFs for use in game-play that have different ammunition types than the stock design was created with.
