its better then it seems. played with and against these beasts for 3 months on a MM server.

Depends on how it's used, I would drop the Sniper for a Gauss rifle and ammo go from there.

It's a full sized sniper, not the short gun. Whole point of this thing is being a cheap alternative to O-Bakemono and others like it.

I get it that is the mech is a walking artillery unit and it's cheap, but the point I am aiming at is it's a limited function mech, you have a gun that is ranged in boards, thus it usefulness is limited to large scale combat or a campaign setting, not your normal table top fights. Which brings me to the point of drop the Sniper for a Gauss or something a bit more useful to a tactical fight.

So, almost every 'mech published is limited in function in one way or another. You can't take an Atlas and do scout runs. Right?

By limited function, I mean the mech has a role, it's a walking artillery mech, it is not a slugger, or line mech.

I wouldn't run an Archer right up into a slugging match since that is not how one uses an Archer. Same with the Helepolis, it should not be found right in the middle of the main push, but back behind things giving fire support.
