Right now, we've got a peach tree in the back yard.
For most of the past few years, we've never gotten any fruit off of it; either the weather has killed the peaches prematurely, or the squirrels / birds / bugs have gotten to them all.
This year, we've had such a bumper crop that one of the branches actually broke off under the weight of all the fruit. Needless to say, we've got a jiveton of peaches we need to use up.
Anyone have any recipes for working with them? Mom's recipe books haven't turned up much, and dad no longer has the manual for his food dehydrator.
Thanks. _________________ "I wish I could write as mysterious as a cat." -Edgar Allen Poe"I knew there was something special about you, but I never realized you were really a cat." Wolfwood to a random cat (Trigun)

I like to make the occasinal smoothie. Which is pretty easy.
1/2 cup Ice
2 peaches
2 banannas
1 cup water.
It makes alot but its pretty darn good.
And if you add some Rum or other alchol of your choice, Well its even better. _________________ Stinger If it's "creepy" to use the Internet, military satellites, and robot aircraft to find a house full of gorgeous young models so I can drop in on them unexpected, then FINE, I'm "creepy". We use allrecipes.com when we are looking for new things. I did a search where Peach was the only required ingredient, and it came back with 456 recipes!
We've been thinking of getting a cherry tree for our yard. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

try fruity yogurt mixed with honey & nuts
also, not to start a political discussion, but i've used three yogurts produced by Fit & Active (they are: Strawberry, Vanilla, and Blueberry) to make red, white, and blue United States Flags _________________ any BT information that i post should not be considered official BT information unless said BT information that i post can be legally quoted from a published up to date BT product
