Is it just me, or do any of you guys get insomnia at some of the worst possible moments? (look at the time of post for proof.)
How do you guys handle it?

I've never had that issue, but I've heard the old wife's tale of warm milk does help.

Thanx anyway. The problem is, tho, that I've just about worn out my luck today (an intact 1986 Laser Tag set at yard sale for $5, among other things.)

I`m at GMT + 2, my posting times are normal.
Usually. Mostly. I do work night shifts, so there are times when I can`t sleep at night even when off duty.

I work nights too. But my problem is getting some deep sleep once the sun comes up and shines through my bedroom window blind. Been thinking about finding some kind of blindfold. And I've already learned to keep only one phone plugged in, far away from the bedroom with a closed door in between. Freakin 8 AM phone salesmen when my bedtime is 5 to 6 AM. _________________ "Those who beat their guns into plows will plow for those with guns..." -Thomas Jefferson

You can't sleep because you found a laser tag game at a yard sale? I think this may answer a lot of questions....

1:08 AM isn't insomnia, I haven't even gone to bed by that time.
When I get insomnia I usually fall asleep around 4-5 AM, usually on a work night. It makes me such a joy to be around at work the next day.

And further proof that 0108 isn't insomnia is my post at 0135, which is 1.5 hours past my normal "non-work night" bed time.
Plus Kraken is in Texas I believe, so it could have been as early as 2308 local for him, which is very early

I get it all the time. I find rocking in a rocking chair works too.
Sir Henry, who has 6 or 7 in the house...

You know what the problem with chronic insomnia is...you're nevery really awake, and you're never really asleep...

It's not so much that, as it was that I used up all my Edge for the day while going to some yard sales, and some stuff that seems simple actually is not. I remember an incident in which I made a critical fumble on my Dex check while attempting to open a can of 'Spaghettios' a few years ago.
