======================================================================================
Overview:
The Word of Blake utilized some of the strongest fortifications seen in the Inner
Sphere since the fall of the Star League. To deal with these, Davion converted
several CN9-D9 Centurion in to heavily armored, tougher variants with advanced c3
computers to lead the assault.
Capabilities:
A compact fusion engine and gyro protected by 20 tons of hardened armor makes the
Centurion tougher than even many assault 'mechs. It's firepower is nothing
impressive, but it's job is to survive long enough for its lancemates to find and
destroy the enemy the Centurion has uncovered.
Deployment:
The CN9-D92 was used exclusively in the Word of Blake Protectorate against
fortifications.

Looks good. Though I tend to avoid C3 networks just because of the complexity, especially with the less experienced players. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Is there a reason to use those heavy compact components? 3/5/3 is not too good. _________________ The dragon NEVER sleeps!

also, you NEED an ECM. you'll loose the C3 easy.
a standard fusion would be fine. _________________ one must work hard to cultivate the mind and body. and one must always cultivate the mind.

A lot of focus on a one ton piece of equipment?
It's purpose is to survive while giving intel on what's inside. The c3 is just a bonus.
The objective of the game says get to point X and stay for one/two turns. Forget trying to clear the enemy from the area, this just hops in and dares the opponent to destroy it in a limited amount of time.
I'm thinking of the various scan missions. Or hold an objective.
If it were designed for "cross the map and survive" I'd go with a larger standard engine for more speed. But this assumed getting there I. Time isn't the issue, only surviving once you get here.

Oh wow, that's a disgusting exercise in survivability. And it still retains some of its guns

The AC5 is a great gun!
