==Overview:==
Named after a Native American tribe, the Kickapoo's teardop-shaped chassis
initially looks unassuming. Two ER Medium Lasers stick out of the hull, and a
pod containing an LRM 5 and a ton of ammo sits on each wing. This is hardly an
impressive load-out for a helicopter of its size, and so upon first glance a
person may be inclined to dismiss it.
In reality, however, it is fairly easy to miss the Bloodhound Probe mounted
atop the Kickapoo's mast. Couple this with the ECM suite embedded in the
airframe, and the Kickapoo's true mission becomes more apparent.
The Kickapoo is, in fact, a hunter/killer platform. It flies ahead of other
helicopters - like the Warrior or the Weedwhacker - and seeks out potential
targets. If the target is light enough, then the Kickapoo will engage with its
LRMs. If not, then the Kickapoo will send information to its brethren to come
join in for a combined assault. The lasers, then, are likely just a back-up in
case the ammo bins run dry.
Of note is that the Kickapoo has a modular interior. This enables it to carry
either four commandos with a fair amount of gear, or a medic and two
stretchers. The ECM supplements the former by allowing the Kickapoo to set
down and drop off its passengers, while the Bloodhound supplements the latter
by helping the crew spot soldiers who may be injured and/or disoriented.

Yes folks, I legitimately forgot about the fact that the Warrior is *lighter* than this one.
That should tell you the kind of weekend I was having. _________________ "I wish I could write as mysterious as a cat." -Edgar Allen Poe"I knew there was something special about you, but I never realized you were really a cat." Wolfwood to a random cat (Trigun)
