Does anyone know how do get the extended heat scale to work correctly? The first mech I printed (before touching any print options), a lvl 3 clan streak monster had the heat scale up to 50. I went to prefs and put extended head scale on "all units where it can fit" but it never prints now. Any ideas?

((BTW< I had to reinstall it on my main comp after my pilot database corrupted. Any ideas why that happened? The comp's not connected to the 'net))

Nope, I did....and even in my totally wasted state (just got back from drink a ton at Mordel's) there is no comparison between HMP and TDB.

HMP is worth every penny you pay for it, it is the best bar none!!!

What version of TDB are you using? I plan on buying HMP myself, especially when he releases HMAero, but until I get the spare cash, TDB is a good program. As far as the pilot roster being corrupted, that happened to me when I installed the upgrade from 2.0.10 to 2.0.11, did you do that by chance? Also, if there isn't a bit of spare space, the program won't print it.

I could be mistaken but I believe HMAero will not be added to the HMPlus package for a long while....

Damn.
I'm still gonna buy HMPlus when I get the cash though. Just buy HMA when it's released.

I'm anxiously waiting to send more money to Rick myself. I think I'll send him the URL for this thread so we can get a definitive answer about HMAero being added to HMPlus.

I'm using the updated version from the old version, I got them both from the downloads section.

No, HeavyMetal Aero will not be included in HeavyMetal Plus, but will rather be sold separately. When/if I complete HeavyMetal Warrior (MechWarrior 3rd character generator), i /may/ make a HeavyMetal Ultra, with all five main programs in it. But that's probably close to a year away.

Ok, I'll still get HMPlus and HMAero, just separately. When I start getting paid for my new job, there is a good chance I'll get both.

Hey Rick, how about taking one of the good things of TDB and BMD for use in HmPro?
I`m speaking of the fact that those two older mech designers allow you to keep all Omni mech variants in one file, switching between them without opening the mech list.

Otherwise I`m very pleased with the program.

Better Omni handling is on my wish list for future features of HMPro. It's not an easy change for me, plus I really like the ability to select different variants from the Select 'Mechs screen, as well as see all the variants on the Open screen. So I'd like to implement it, yet not lose these features. Don't know if I can do that or not, but rest assured some day it will get better.
