Overview:
The Blood Tick is a rare Blood Spirit design based upon the SLDF Exterminator.
This unit does not mount the Stealth systems of the Star League head-hunter,
but is instead optimized for urban combat operations. Its high mobility and
heavy armor, not to mention ECM suite, allows it to choose the place and time
of when it engages the enemy--usually by jumping into his rear and unleashing a
full alpha strike upon the weaker armor. Ironically, despite being one of the
heavier Spirit BattleMechs, the Blood Tick is the fastest of all native Blood
Spirit designs.
Capabilities:
This heavy BattleMech masses 60 tons and utilizes a 360-rate extra-light fusion
engine that allows it to walk at speeds of 64.8 kilometers per hour and run at
97.2 kph. Six jump jets allow this BattleMech to leap 180 meters at a time, and
provide an excellent means of breaking contact in an urban environment.
The Spirit scientists wanted to maximize the available tonnage left over from
using the large engine, and were forced to incorporate endo-steel internal
structure and nine tons of ferro-fibrous armor plating. Although just 85.57% of
the maximum protective coverage, the Spirits believe that with the mobility and
tactics of the Blood Tick more armor was unnecessary.
The ECM suite is mounted in the right torso with an Active Probe n the left.
Four ER Medium Lasers are the primary in-close weapons, mounted two in the
right arm and two more in the center torso. These weapons are tied into a
one-ton targeting computer situated in the head. The left arm carries the only
long-range weapons on the Blood Tick: an LRM-15 launcher with Artemis IV. Three
tons of ammunition provide an ample twenty-four salvoes. The addition of
fourteen double-strength heat sinks allows the Blood Tick to jump and fire
almost without heat worries. With the usual tactics employed by its pilots, it
is almost certain to dissipate any excess overheat between firing passes.
Deployment:
The Blood Tick is almost exclusive to the Blood Spirits, with only a few
examples taken as isorla over the past decade. Despite its incredible
maneuverability for a BattleMech of its size, other Clans consider it too fast
for its weight class. Only the Ice Hellions have expressed an interest, but
even they are disdainful of the six tons wasted on jump jets.
Variants:
A specialist design, the Blood Tick has had no variants developed and produced.

Overview:
The Frost Wyrm is the largest and heaviest BattleMech normally fielded by Clan
Ice Hellion. At 60-tons, this does limit the Hellion toumen to predominately
lights and mediums, but with their preference for very fast BattleMechs, the
typical Hellion Warrior does not care much for the slower Heavy and Assault
class machines. Introduced after the release of the Blood Tick in 3038, members
of Clan Blood Spirit accussed the Hellions of stealing their design without the
proper batchell. But when the Grand Council of Khans considered the issue, the
numerous differences between the two quickly became evident. To this day, the
Spirits ire can be raised simply by mentioning this BattleMech.
Capabilities:
Much like the Blood Tick, the Frost Wyrm uses a 360-rate extra-light fusion
engine that allows fast overland movement: 64.8 kilometers per hour walking and
97.2 kph running. In sprint mode with MASC activated, the Frost Wyrm can
acheive a maximum speed of 129.6 kph, albeit for limited periods of time.
Endo-steel and ten and a half tons of ferro-fibrous armor plating (the maximum
possible on a 60-ton chassis) lowered the base tonnage and allowed the Hellions
to pack on a powerful arrangement of weapon systems.
The primary gun is a right-arm mounted ER PPC, backed up by an ER Medium Laser
in the head. At shorter range, three Streak SRM-6 launchers join into the
carnage. Mounted in the left arm, left torso, and right torso, the Streaks are
fed from two tons of ammounition (30 salvoes) in the left torso and presents a
fearsome swarm of missiles when all three launchers successfully lock onto a
target.
The design does lack adequete heat sinks, however. Under normal conditions, at
range, the thirteen double heat sinks are adequete to handle the ER PPC, ER
Medium, one Streak SRM-6, and movement heat. But at short range, the heat
increases greatly, especially if all three Streaks lock onto the target
successfully. Hellion Warriors assigned to the Frost Wyrm are skilled at
balancing this heat load, however, and it appears to work well for them.
Deployment:
As with the Blood Tick, most Clans consider the Frost Wyrm simply too fast for
its tonnage. Only the Jade Falcons have made a bid for the design, winning the
production rights easily.
Variants:
The Ice Hellions produce a second model of the Frost Wyrm, the Mod IH-2. This
variant removes three Streak SRM-6 launchers and replaces them with six
standard SRM-6 racks, while retaining the same two tons of ammunition, energy
weapons, heat sinks, and armor protection. A terror in close-range, the Mod
IH-2 is even more prone to overheating than the original, and the Warrior
assigned to this machine must carefully hoard his limited supply of missile
salvoes for the right moment.
The Jade Falcons Mod JF removed the MASC system and all of the short-range
missile launchers from the design. They kept the right arm ER PPC and moved the
head-mounted ER Medium Laser to teh center torso. Three more ER Mediums were
added to the design (left arm, left torso, and right torso), along with an
Active Probe (right torso), ECM Suite (left torso), and TAG (left arm). A
two-ton targeting computer module was added to the left torso as well.
Eighteen double strength heat sinks were fitted to the Mod JF to deal with the
intense heat generated by the design; this is sufficient to walk and fire all
five weapons for zero net heat buildup.

Overview:
One of the most common Ghost Bear heavy BattleMechs, the Mad Dog is also
reasonably common in the toumens of other Clans. Produced by the Coyotes,
Diamond Sharks, Fire Mandrills, Ghost Bears, and Goliath Scorpions, this
BattleMech combines ample firepower, good armor protection, good heat
dissipation, and an interesting selection of weapon systems that give good
performance at all ranges and against all types of targets.
Capabilities:
The Mad Dog is a 60 ton heavy BattleMech that uses a 300-rate extra-light
fusion engine to acheive ground speeds of 54 kilometers per hour (walking) and
86.4 kph (running). The design does not include jump jets, somewhat limiting its
overall mobility, but does feature endo-steel internal structure and ten and a
half tons of ferro-fibrous armor plating (100% of the maximum allowed on a
60-ton chassis).
Armament is highly symetrical, allowing the Warrior assigned to this 'Mech to
easily become accustomed to the layout. Two LRM-10 launchers with Artemis IV
are fitted (right torso, left torso), each with 24 shots. The arms forgo hand
actuators to mount a pair of Extended-range Lasers, one Large and one Medium.
To provide additional close-in firepower and anti-personnel capability, two AP
Gauss Rifles are mounted in a chin turret located in the center torso, with 40
shots of the non-explosive ammunition stored in the head.
Eighteen double heat sinks provide good cooling, and are able to handle the
demands of the LRMs and ER Larges without problems. However, at closer ranges,
the Warrior assigned to a Mad Dog must either use his ER Larges and LRMs or all
four lasers in order to avoid generating excess overheat. The two AP Gauss
added to all four lasers will cause movement heat to be generated as excess,
but this is deemed as sufficient.
Deployment:
Found throughout the Clans of Kerensky, the majority are nonetheless
concentrated in the Ghost Bear toumen, where it seems that every heavy and
assault star (and many mediums) have a Mad Dog in their ranks.
Variants:
The Coyotes Mad Dog Mk LX Mod C removes the two ER medium lasers to upgrade the
LRM launchers to 15 racks; this version is also produced by the Diamond Sharks.
The Fire Mandrills remove the LRMs completely, replacing them with four SRM-6s
and four tons of ammunition, plus one more double heat sink. This allows the
Mad Dog Mod FM to fire one ER Large, both ER Mediums, and all four SRMs and
remain at a net heat balance of zero.
The Goliath Scorpions remove both AP Gauss Rifles and their ammunition bin in
order to outfit the Mad Dog Mk LX Mod GS with a two-ton targeting computer.

Overview:
The Tomb Scarab is a low-end Heavy BattleMech manufactured by the Star Adders,
the Steel Vipers, and the Wolves. Based upon the SLDF Rifleman chassis, this
venerable BattleMech serves as an effective air-defense unit and is heavily
armored. Secondary weapon systems allow the Tomb Scarab to retain effectiveness
against ground units as well as aerospace fighters, small craft, conventional
fighters, and VTOLs. This BattleMech can be found in all toumens.
Capabilities:
The Tomb Scarab masses 60 tons and uses a 300-rate extra-light fusion engine to
walk at speeds of 54 kilometers per hour and run at 86.4 kph. Adder scientists
built this BattleMech with endo-steel internal structure and ten tons of
ferro-fibrous armor plating. This heavy armor sheath (95.52% of maximum
coverage) gives the Tomb Scarab a much different feel than its distant
ancestor. Clan Warriors assigned to this unit are not afraid of getting in
close and mixing it up with their opponents, although the BattleMech is at its
best at range.
Both arms use the traditional layout seen on the Rifleman, with matched pairs
of medium-weight autocannon and large lasers. Lacking any lower arm or hand
actuators, the Tomb Scarab can rotate its arms to fire directly above or behind
itself, which, when combined with the torso twist, permits this air-defense
unit to keep fast-moving flyers in its gunsights. Each arm features an LB-5X
autocannon (with 20 shots of cluster and 20 shots of slugs per gun) and an ER
Large Laser. The old secondary battery of medium lasers found the Rifleman was
discarded; instead, the Tomb Scarab carries a head-mounted Anti-Missile System
(24 shots in the center torso) and a total of fourteen double-strength heat
sinks.
This concentration of heat sinks allows the Tomb Scarab to maintain a constant
barrage of laser fire and autocannon bursts against a target, with only running
movement generating any excess overheat. Adder designers took serious the
complaints that their second-line Warriors had expressed on the Rifleman when
they designed this machine and strived hard to correct the flaws.
Deployment:
A relatively common BattleMech, the Tomb Scarab is produced by the Adders,
Vipers, and Wolves, but can be found in any toumen.
Variants:
Designed for one job, the Tomb Scarab excells at that task, and makes a fairly
decent general combat unit as well. Because of the effectiveness of this design
at its intended role, no variant models have been developed.

Overview:
One of the newest Clan BattleMechs is the 65-ton Ebon Jaguar designed and built
by the Smoke Jaguars. Focusing on long-range combat, the design is not as
capable at short-range as the older Hellbringer, but projects a third greater
firepower at long-range. This heavy BattleMech was originally intended to be a
secret that would be unveiled when needed, but a defecting Jaguar scientist
revealed the project to the Steel Vipers, who demanded a Trial of Possession
for the production rights. Although only one Steel Viper Warrior remained alive
from the Trinary who began the engagement, he managed to defeat his final two
opponents and win the Trial.
Capabilities:
Massing 65 tons, the Ebon Jaguar uses a 325-rate extra-light fusion engine to
acheive speeds of 54 kilometers per hour (walking) and 86.4 kph (running). No
jump jets are mounted, but the design features eleven tons of ferro-fibrous
armor plating and endo-steel internal structure.
Armament consists of a Gauss Rifle (right arm, with 16 shots), an ER PPC (left
arm), an LRM-15 launcher with Artemis IV (left torso with 16 salvoes), and a
Streak SRM-4 launcher (right torso with 25 salvoes). Twelve double-strength
heat sinks provide good cooling, with only movement heat generated if all four
weapon systems are fired.
Deployment:
Both the Smoke Jaguars and Steel Vipers produce the Ebon Jaguar, although the
Jaguars remain in a furor over having lost the exclusive rights to their new
design. A handful of examples have reached the other Clans, but the largest
user (besides the Jaguars and Vipers) are the Falcons, who received fifteen
from the Smoke Jaguars in 3047 as part of their unofficial alliance.
Variants:
The Ebon Jaguar is too new a design to have developed any production variants.

Overview:
Originally designed by Clan Jade Falcon, today the Hellbringer is the single
most common Clan Heavy-class BattleMech, serving in every toumen and
manufactured by no fewer than eight seperate Clans. This fearsome opponent
carries a blistering array of weaponry, heavy armor, advanced electronics, and
an above average speed for its weight class. Many Clan Warriors consider this
BattleMech to be the ultimate expression of Clan technological might.
Capabilities:
On a 65-ton chassis, the Falcon engineers installed a 325-rate extra-light
fusion engine inside an endo-steel internal skeletal structure. This powerful
engine moves the Hellbringer at walking speeds of 54 kilometers per hour and
running speeds of 86.4 kph. The design lacks jump jets, so mobility is only
fair. However, it does carry eleven tons of ferro-fibrous armor plating--the
maximum allowed for a 65-ton BattleMech.
Armament-wise, the Hellbringer seems to have been the result of a
'bring-it-all' philosophy that would later cause the Inner Sphere to assign the
code-name of Loki to this unit. For energy weapons, the Hellbringer carriers an
ER PPC on the right arm and three ER Medium Lasers in the right torso.
Anti-personnel capability to provided by two AP Gauss Rifles in the left arm
(each with 20 shots). All six of these guns are tied into a two-ton targeting
computer in the right torso. Missile weapons include a LRM-15 launcher with
Artemis IV in the left torso, along with three tons of missiles (24 shots) and
a Streak SRM-4 launcher in the right torso (25 salvoes).
Defensively, the Hellbringer mounts an Anti-Missile System in the head with 24
shots stored in the center torso. Also in the center torso is an Active Probe,
while an ECM Suite has been fitted to the right torso. And while the Clans only
seldom use Arrow IV munitions, the Falcon scientists included a Light TAG
system in the left arm! However, the fourteen double-strength heat sinks are
sorely taxed if the Warrior piloting this mighty BattleMech alpha strikes
(53.57% over the rated dissipation capacity).
However, when properly used in range brackets, the heat load balances nicely.
Long-range features the LRM-15, ER PPC, and AMS for 21-23. Short-range is the
AP Gauss Rifles, ER Medium Lasers, Streak SRM-4, and AMS for 21-23. Mid-range,
the Hellbringer pilot can fire his long-range battery and safely add one ER
Medium Laser to the mix, whle at short range he can add his LRMs and not exceed
his maximum capacity.
Deployment:
Althoug designed by Clan Jade Falcon, the Hellbringer is perhaps the design
that has been accepted across the Clans. It is in production by no less than
eight Clans: Cloud Cobra, Coyote, Diamond Shark, Fire Mandrill, Goliath
Scorpion, Hell's Horses, Jade Falcon, and Star Adder. Thanks to the abundance
of isorla and the Sharks proclivites in selling these BattleMechs, the
Hellbringer is common in every Clan toumen.
Variants:
Designed as a general-purpose line-of-battle BattleMech, the Hellbringer has
not been altered since its introduction.

Overview:
The Goliath Scorpion is a relatively new design fielded by Clan Goliath
Scorpion. One of the heaviest BattleMechs commonly field by that Clan, it
serves as a hard-hitting unit well adapted to leading their toumen to victory.
At 70 tons, it is a workable heavy-class unit, but the lack of assault-class
BattleMechs in their toumen occassionally limits the Scorpions ability to
engage the heaviest of hostile forces. But this is a direct product of the
Scorpion belief in precision and maneuver--and their disdain at using 'Mechs
with a walking speed of less than 54 kilometers per hour.
When first encountered by the Inner Sphere, it was assumed that this BattleMech
was based upon the venerable Awesome. In fact, the design was inspired by the
SLDF Lancelot (with the tonnage increased, speed dropped slightly, and more
powerful weapons installed). However that makes no difference to the average
Inner Sphere MechWarrior who still refers to this BattleMech as the 'Awesome
from Hell'.
Capabilities:
At 70-tons, the Goliath Scorpion is a middle of the road heavy class
BattleMech. The unit utilizes a 350-rate extra-light fusion engine that gives
it a walking speed of 54 kilometers per hour and a running speed of 86.4 kph.
The design does not mount jump jets, but it does include endo-steel internal
structure and eleven tons of ferro-fibrous armor plating.
Weaponry is concise and to the point in the Scorpion style: two ER PPCs (right
arm and left arm) and one ER Large Laser (center torso), all of which are tied
into a four-ton targeting computer. For defensive fire, an Anti-Missile System
is mounted in the head, with 24 shots stored in the center torso. Twenty-two
double strength heat sinks allow the Warrior piloting one of these lethal
BattleMechs to maintain a nearly constant barrage of PPC bolts and laser blasts
against their opponents.
Deployment:
Produced by the Cloud Cobras and Goliath Scorpions, this heavy weight slugger
is uncommon in other Clans, but there are a few isorla units within the toumen
rosters.

The Cloud Cobras produce their own version of the Goliath Scorpion, the Mod CC.
This model removes the four-ton targeting computer, one double-heat sink, and
the ER Large Laser in order to add an ER Medium Laser to the center torso and

Overview:
The 70-ton Naga is produced only by Clans Diamond Shark, Star Adder, and Wolf,
although it is in use by all the Clans of Kerensky. Designed by Clan Wolf as a
heavy artillery BattleMech, the Naga makes many sacrifices in firepower and
armor to bring two Arrow IV rocket artillery launchers onto the battlefield.
Capabilities:
Massing 70-tons, the Naga uses a 350-rate extra-light fusion engine to acheive
a ground speed of 54 kilometers per hour (walking) and 86.4 kph (running).
Endo-steel internal structure has been used to save tonnage, along with
eight-and-a-half tons of ferro-fibrous armor plating (75.11% of maximum).
This design carries two massive Arrow IV artillery rocket launchers, one in the
right arm/torso and the second in the left arm/torso. Each launcher has twenty
Arrow IV munitions available, giving the Naga a powerful support capability.
However, the only secondary weapon is a center torso mounted extended-range
Large Laser. Unlike the Dark Hunter, which was designed to defend itself, the
Naga has only minimal self-defense capabilities and normally requires an escort
of true BattleMechs.
Deployment:
Nearly every Clan has least a handful of Nagas, although many prefer the
lighter, faster, less expensive Dark Hunter. However, for sheer bombardment
potential, the Naga has few competitors, a factor which keeps the design in
service.
Variants:
The Clans have not bothered with variants on the Naga chassis. Assignment to
one of these artillery 'Mechs is usually a sign that a Warrior is treading on
the edge of being sent to a Solahma formation.

Overview:
Clan Ghost Bear built their Silver Grizzly Heavy BattleMech because of their
respect for General Kerensky's ancient Orion. Originally intended to serve as
an homage Mech that would see just ceremonial service in Trials of Grievance
among high-ranking Blood-named Warriors of the Clan, the combat performance
convinced the Ghost Bears to place this unit in general production instead.
Although other Clans have expressed covetous longings over the design, only the
Coyotes have so far managed to acquire the rights to manufacture this unit.
Capabilities:
At 70-tons, the Silver Grizzly is a large, powerful combat BattleMech. The
design uses a 350-rate extra-light fusion engine to move at speeds of 54
kilometers per hour (walking) and 86.4 kph (running), although it does lack any
jump jets. Endo-steel internal structure was used in the construction, along
with eleven tons of ferro-fibrous armor plating.
The armament of this BattleMech mirrors that of the ancient SLDF (and before
that the Terran Hegemony) Orion. The long-range missile rack is LRM-15 launcher
with Artemis IV set in the left torso (24 shots), while the right torso
contains an LB-10X series autocannon (30 shots, 20 of slug and 10 of cluster).
Each arm has a fully functional hand actuator (unlike the original Orion) and
carries an ER Medium Laser and a Streak SRM-4 (25 shots each). The only other
weapon is a third ER Medium Laser set directly beneath the cockpit in the
head of this BattleMech.
Fourteen double-strength heat sinks eliminate all but movement heat when every
weapon successfully fires. Since the Streaks will not always acheive a lock, it
is quite easy to balance the overall heat load.
These capable and effective BattleMechs are one of the main reason behind the
rise in power of Clan Ghost Bear.
Deployment:
Common only in Clan Ghost Bear and Clan Coyote heavy-weight formations, the
Silver Grizzly is a powerful heavy unit. A handful have been made available to
other Clans (usually as isorla), but these number less than a dozen.
Variants:
The Silver Grizzly Mk LXX Mod C is a variant produced by Clan Coyote. This
version removes one Streak SRM-4 pack and ammunition, along with two heat
sinks, in order to upgrade the left torso LRM-15 to a 20-pack and the right
torso LB-10X autocannon to a Gauss Rifle. Four tons of LRM ammunition and
three tons of Gauss Rifle slugs are included in the loadout. Finally, the
Coyotes installed a rear-firing ER Small Laser as a token gesture to the need
to protect the units rear.

Overview:
The Solahma Alpha is the largest and most powerful of the Solahma series. It is
provided only to those warriors thought most likely to redeem their codex.
Capabilities:
Massing 70-tons, the Alpha uses a 280-rate standard fusion engine to achieve a
slow, ponderous speed normally seen only on Clan Assault-weight designs. It
does, on the other hand, carry an impressive eleven tons of ferro-fibrous armor
plating.
The weapons load is equally impressive, especially for a Solahma design. The
Alpha mimicks the SLDF Atlas in its choice of weapons, although the Clan
systems it uses increases its overall effectiveness and engagement range.
Long-range firepower is provided by a LRM-20 with 18 shots in the left torso.
At mid-range, two ER Medium Lasers (head and left arm) chime in, quickly
followed by the right arm LB-20X (right arm) with a total of 15 shots in the
right torso (10 slug and 5 cluster). At short range, a SRM-6 launcher in the
left torso with 15 shots joins in the fun. Instead of the two rear-firing
lasers of the original Atlas, the Alpha instead carries a pair of torso-mounted
AP Gauss for anti-personnel work, along with a ton of ammunition (40 shots) in
the center torso.
Fourteen double-heat sinks are carried--enough to fire all weapons and just
generate movement heat. Although slow and ponderous, the Alpha has proven
itself to be a rather formidable opponent--and of the few Solahma Warriors that
manage to regain their honor, the lion's share were piloting an Alpha.
Deployment:
Every Clan maintains at least one Solahma Cluster manned by Warriors deemed too
old to serve in front-line or second-line Clusters. Seeking an honorable death,
these warriors have spent their careers being unlucky enough to acheive no
glorious record of deeds on their codex and are not likely to have their
genetic diversity passed on to future generations of Clan warriors. By
volunteering to serve in a Solahma unit, these warriors earn one final chance
to earn the distinction and honor that will ensure they are part of their
Clan's legacy.
Variants:
None of the Solahma series of BattleMechs have varients--the Clans do believe
in devoting large amounts of resources to provide for what
are--ultimately--expendable troops.

Overview:
Although widely thought be a Clan only interested in WarShips, the Snow Ravens
field a powerful--albeit small--BattleMech force in their toumen. And leading
that toumen is their home-grown Summoner Heavy BattleMech.
Drawing inspiration from the SLDF Warhammer, the Ravens added their own touches,
increasing the speed, mobility, and firepower while retaining & enhancing the
already formidable firepower even more. In 3037, the Fire Mandrills won
production rights, and they in turn were forced to share the design with Blood
Spirits in 3041. Both the Jade Falcons and the Nova Cats gained manufacturing

throughout Clan space and can be found in nearly every toumen.
Capabilities:
The 70-ton Summoner is highly mobile for its weight class. A 350-rate
extra-light fusion engine is used to provide a speed of 54 kilometers per hour
walking and 86.4 kph running, while five jump jets gives the design a 150-meter
jump capability. The Raven scientists fitted the chassis with endo-steel
internal structure and ten and a half tons of ferro-fibrous armor plating.
Although not the heaviest possible armor protection, the plating was deemed to
be sufficient (with 92.62% maximum coverage).
Duplicating the weapons layout the ancient Warhammer, the Summoner carries two
ER PPCs (one each in the right arm and left arm). These weapons provide a
fearsome long-range bite for the heavy BattleMech. In close, a Streak SRM-6 box
launcher on the right torso closely matches the profile of its ancestor,
equipped with 15 salvoes. The secondary battery consists of two ER Medium
Lasers, two ER Small Lasers, and two AP Gauss Rifles (each with 20 shots).
At long range, the Summoner can fire both ER PPCs and jump for zero net heat
build-up. In close, the four ER lasers, two AP Gauss, Streak SRM-6, and one ER
PPC can be fired while walking for zero net heat build-up, or while jumping for
4 points of excess overheat.
Deployment:
Fairly common throughout the Clans of Kerensky, the Summoner is still most
common in the Cat, Falcon, Mandrill, Raven, and Spirit toumens where it is
still in full production.
Variants:
The Nova Cat's Mod NC Summoner removes the two ER Small Lasers and downgrades
the ER PPCs to ER Large Lasers in order to add a third ER Medium and a
three-ton targeting computer. One additional double-strength heat sinks allows
the Mod NC to fire its short-range battery and one ER Large Laser while jumping
without generating any excess overheat.

Overview:
The Nova Cat is the signature heavy BattleMech of Clan Nova Cat. The design is
based upon the SLDF Marauder and incorporates all of the weapons layout, with
greater damage potential and range. These BattleMechs were unveiled in 3042 and
immediately were praised for their weapons configuration, high turn of speed,
and heavy armor protection. To date, the Cats have fought four trials for
production rights, but have managed to retain their exclusive status as the
sole producer.
Capabilities:
This heavy BattleMech masses 75 tons and features a 375-rate extra-light fusion
engine that gives the Nova Cat a walking speed of 54 kilometers per hour and a
running speed of 86.4 kph. Like the old Marauder, the design does not mount
jump jets. It does incorporate endo-steel internal structure and mounts eleven
and a half tons of ferro-fibrous armor protection (95.23% of maximum).
The Nova Cat hewed rigorously to the traditional Marauder layout, with each arm
having an ER PPC and an ER Medium Laser, removing the hand actuators in order
to fit the weapons pod so characteristic of the Star League design. The right
torso features an LB-10X autocannon with two tons of ammunition (10 shots of
cluster and 10 shots of slug). Seventeen double-strength heat sinks are mounted,
allowing for the use of the ER PPCs and LB-10X while running without overheating.
Adding the ER Medium Lasers into the mix will result in a great deal of excess heat
production, however, but any skilled Warrior should be able to juggle weapons use
to balance the heat load over the course of several minutes of combat.
Since its introduction, the Nova Cat has seen nothing but praise, and many Clan
Warriors are salivating at the day they can capture one as isorla.
Deployment:
Less than sixty Nova Cats have been taken as isorla in the past eight years.
The remainder serve Clan Nova Cat as its primary heavy BattleMech.
Variants:
A limited number of Mod NC-2s were produced in 3044 and 3045, but production
was later discontinued. These units replaced the LB-10X autocannon with an Ultra
AC-10 autocannon. The inability to use cluster munitions, increased rate of
ammunition expenditure, and propensity to jam at the worst possible moment made
this variant less well-received by Nova Cat Warriors. Only twenty-five Nova Cat
Mk LXXV Mod NC-2s were produced.

Overview:
The exclusive property of Clan Wolf, the Tiimber Wolf is an impressive
war-machine that projects power and inspires fear. This 75-ton BattleMech is
certain to be a crucial part of Clan Wolfs attempt to remain the power among
the Clans of Kerensky.
Capabilities:
At 75 tons, the Timber Wolf uses a 375-rate extra-light fusion engine to give
it a land speed of 54 kilometers per hour (walking) and 86.4 kph (running). The
design forgoes the use of jump jets to instead mount a heavy battery of
weapons. Endo-steel internal structure was used in the construction, as well as
eleven and a half tons of ferro-fibrous armor plating.
Armament consists of two ER Large Lasers and two ER Medium Lasers (one of each
in the right arm and left arm). Hand actuators were omitted from the design,
resulting in the familiar Marauder-style weapons pods. Two LRM-15 launchers are
fitted to the right and left torsos (one in each), with each missile system
equipped with Artemis IV Fire Control and provided with 16 salvoes. For
anti-personnel defense, the scientists included in a pair of AP Gauss Rifles
(right torso and left torso, with 20 shots each).
Although eighteen double strength heat sinks are mounted, the heat generated by
the weapons can easily exceed that amount. However, it is sufficient to allow
the Timber Wolf to run and fire both ER Large and both LRMs and remain heat
neutral. At close range, if the Warrior piloting this machine does not fire one
ER Large, it is still heat neutral.
Deployment:
Although a few isorla examples have been circulated throughout the Clans, for
the most part the Timber Wolf is seen only in Wolf Guard, Battle, or Assault
Clusters. In those formations, it is the most common heavy weight BattleMech.
Variants:
Wolf Warriors like the Timber Wolf's combination of speed, armor, and firepower
and have not requested any variant designs from the scientist caste. The
original Mod W remains in production to this day.

I like!
Finally a Hellbringer that is not totally Loki! Also love your Ebon Jaguar and Timber Wolf.
I do think their might be a Wolf warrior or two who might want something along the lines of the ol'A variant with PPCs, medium lasers and some SRMs for crit finders.
I did not notice any full long range missile loadouts, maybe yet another Mad Dog variant produced by the Coyotes?
Oh and should not the Jags been producing something besides the Ebon? Or did they retool all of their production to it? What did they use before they desiged the Ebon? _________________ The JadeDragon
