For the past few days now, some of the posters (myself included) at the Mythbusters fansite have been discussing the plausibility of real-life mechs.

There's not much interesting there. That site (of which I am a long time member but very infrequent poster) is full of people that live in their Mom's basement and read one article on a subject and think they're experts.
