==Overview:==
While no one quite knows how the machine got its name (it is rumored to have
been the result of the fact that the machine looks something like an insect),
the simple truth of the matter is that the Tater Bug is a surprisingly
effective combat transport unit.
In addition to sporting heavier-than-normal armor for its weight class, the
Tater Bug also boasts a fair amount of firepower. Its machine guns can take
apart infantry, its medium laser allows it to threaten battle armor or other
light vehicles, and its rockets can suppress targets at range.
Oddly enough, the Tater Bug has a ton and a half set aside for internal space.
While this is enough for roughly two squads of infantry, the original
intention appears to have been room for a single squad to either stretch out
between missions or carry with them an extra amount of supplies.

I suggest dropping the MGs and ammo for a small pulse laser or two. You have the heat sinks for it. And SPLs work against infantry just as well as MGs and less worry about ammo. Other then that looks good. _________________ Karagin Only the dead have seen the end of war. - Plato

This, like the D'Jinn, came from a non-BTech story plot I'm toying with in which fusion engines and combat-grade lasers are still bleeding-edge technology.
The idea was to see how potent some of these machines could be under BTech rules, hence why I have so many machine guns on them. _________________ "I wish I could write as mysterious as a cat." -Edgar Allen Poe"I knew there was something special about you, but I never realized you were really a cat."
