I remember that we had a few Star Wars inspired designs here and didnt see the AT-TE any where so since I designed it in my time with no internet I thought I would post it. Fluff isnt complete but could be a fun mech.

==Overview:==
Following on the heels of the very successful AT-AT the new AT-TE is a lower cost vehicle that can transport one squad of troops or 2 new Lightning fast attack mechs. Designed with the help of the Dragoons the AT-TE is a interesting mixture of Clan and IS technolgies.

LOL.

I posted my take on this long time back...I can repost it, I am pretty sure most of us have converted over many of the SW vehicles and ships we each like into BT stats, some work out okay others, well given the limits on what can be done with space ships and other vessels and vehicles leaves a lot to be desired.

I will get a few of mine up over the next few days.

Also noting that in the episode of Clone Wars on Cartoon Network, the Jedi and Clones call the AT-TEs tanks.

I like the Gauss that is a nice touch.

And wierd that I missed it. I searched the forums back to the last post I made and didnt see any AT-TE's /shrug.

So anyone know if they have ever added 6 legged mechs to BT? I honestely havent gone into a hobby store now in almost 3 years (the one by me isnt very good).

Uhmm, yeah six legged mechs, well they have those err...hmm...multi-legged things from MWDA (or what ever the last going title of the game was) but no official rules for Battletech it self. I wouldn't mind six legged mechs myself, it would be just more things to take damage etc...

If you have a decent book store around or order online, you need to get the Incredible Cross Section SW books, they give you some amazing details about the vehicles and show what they have. A lot of the SW stuff uses magazine feed weapons, for the bigger guns on the ground vehicles, some use lasers/ion weapons.

The Essential Guides are very help as well and make for some interesting reading. I would suggest getting those also.

As far as I am concerned MWDA dosent exsist. The entire concept wasso poorly thought out that it doesnt belong even associated with BT (my opinion only, if others share it even better). But I agree they should be in the BT universe wouldnt be to hard to impliment them. Be intesting to let 6 legged quads be the only mechs able to get to say 150 tons.

I ahve a few of the SW books none of the new ones though although I have been collecting all of the novels I can.

Several of thoes would make great new movies or even mini series. (Even though the guys ego is huge but Stackpoles X-wing series comes to mind)
