After seeing Talen's post on a possible return of Mechwarrior video games, I had a driving desire to hop on my PC and stomp the crap out of something (a bad day at work also helped bring this on).
I also have a son now, who LOVES heavy equipment, and has all the makings of a great mechwarrior (yeah, I'm biased, here. So what?).
Unfortunately, I can't find my disks anymore. Does anyone know where I can find a copy of Mechwarrior IV? I'd be interested in the expansions, too, since I never got to play them.

Try looking online; someone should have it.
Also, I heard that MW IV: Black Knights had a pretty lame storyline, such that it was officially declared non-canon; you might want to skip that.

also try out Mechwarrior IV Mercenaries
which is a stand alone game which is very good upgrade in the series

I never owned a copy. Just borrowed it (for those confused by Ghost Bear's answer, our house blew up last year. Damn Word of Blake/Propane Delivery guys anyhow!

Personally I would go Mech 3. I thought mech 4 was horrible. But then I like JJ on my timberwolf, and to read the line in the instruction booklet that said the Mk 2 was designed so the timberwolf could have JJ just annoyed the hell out of me.
On a related note I will look for my copy and see if I can find it. IF I can Ill send it to you.
