Has anyone here used inkwash instead of drybrush to add depth ot your minis? I've seen it done o the IWM site and a few others, and was wondering if anyone had tips for doing it.

I think only one or two folks on here paint, that I can think of. And I, unfortunately, am not one of them. Sad

I usually use a 4 to one ration of water to paint. When I have lot of tiny detail I may go to 5:1

My blend ink mixture can 'vary according to the needs. If I want to pull out details than I usually use a strong black ink in this case I used the refiller for micro pens

It's different from normal ink on the market, this is really very dense and full-bodied so I add distilled water till is OK with future floor and matt varnish in order to avoid the shining effect.
It's up to you how much water you want for the mix.
I usually use the same tecnic with other ink color and those are the results:

PS
this is still a W.i.P.
