 ==Overview:==
 I don't really care for this SLDF 'Mech--they all look so much alike in this
 weight class.  But let's see what the Falcon Hawk could have been.
 
 Lots to do here.  First of all, we lose that frakkin' XL engine.  We give it
 Endo-steel to make up some of the weight loss and keep the Ferro-fibrous
 armor, but at 6.5 tons instead of 7 (still 97% of max).  That eats a lot of
 crits, and after stripping the weapons and heat sinks, we got enough tonnage
 to boost movement to 6/9/0.
 
 That leaves 11.5 tons and 15 crit slots.  Let's keep the 'Mech a light-bulb,
 so it gets an ER PPC, with three medium lasers as back-up.  We add an 11th
 double heat sink, and then a small laser with our last half-ton.
 
 Sure, it can overheat, but only by +3 on a full alpha, and that's livable.  I
 still don't care for it, but its a decent light 'Mech that's survivable.  And
 two out of three ain't bad--sing it, Meat, sing it!

 ==Overview:==
 Who doesn't love the Firestarter?  It is THE 'Mech for that hidden pyromaniac
 inside each of us.  Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy, don't it?
 
 This upgrade was fairly simple and straight-forward.  Right off the bat, we
 give it Endo-Steel and 6.5 tons of Ferro-fibrous, for a whooping 97% of max
 armor!  Whoo-hooo!
 
 We convert the ten singles to ten doubles--and it can still overheat!  But, at
 least now its managable by a decent MechWarrior.
 
 For the guns, we stay pretty true to the original.  That rear firing flamer
 has to go, though.  We replace it with a 3rd medium laser beneath the CT
 flamer, but firing forward.  Why does a 6/9/6 'Mech even NEED a rear firing
 weapon?  And if so, why a FLAMER?  I don't get it.
 
 Next for the two machineguns.  We replace them and their ammo with a pair of
 small pulse lasers--one in each torso--and find ourselves with a half-ton left
 over.  Ok, small laser in the head and we are finished.
 
 Gonna have a hot time in the city, tonight!

 ==Overview:==
 Maybe its because I'm a Drac at heart, but I've always loved the lithe little
 Jenner, even with the paper tissue armor and lack of heat sinks.  This petite
 'Mech is a genuine killer.
 
 Endo-steel is pretty much mandatory for this 'Mech, and we pile on the
 Ferro-Fibrous as well, 5.5 tons worth (83% of max).  We keep the base movement
 of 7/11 the same, but increase the jump capability to a full 210 meters!  For
 those who say speed is life, we got it.  For those who say armor is life,
 well, we sorta got that too.
 
 We sub the ten singles of the original for ten doubles, and can even squeeze
 nine of them into the engine!
 
 Unfortunately, that leaves us with just 6 tons for weapons.  Each arm keeps
 both of the medium lasers of the original. We remove the hand actuators and
 lower arm actuators as well, giving the Jenner the ability to 'flip' their
 arms and fire behind them.  But, we have to downgrade the old SRM-4 rack to an
 SRM-2.  Since we have no room for CASE, we put the SRM ammo in the head.
 
 Sure, it doesn't have quite the punch of the old model, but its tougher and
 jumps farther.  And you don't have to worry about blowing your own ammo with
 your heat buildup!  Fast, agile, and deadly; now you see why the Dracs wanted
 it in their forces!

 ==Overview:==
 Another of the 3058 fuggly looking 'Mechs, the Night Hawk arrived on the scene
 rather late, and a Royal version was never officially produced.  But ComStar
 found the design teams notes and plans for the prototype.
 
 We use a standard engine and keep the movement at 6/9/0, with Endo-steel and 6
 tons of Ferro-Fibrous armor (90% of max).
 
 For the weapons, we mount an ER Large Laser in each arm.  With no hand
 actuators or lower arm actuators, the weapons can flip to target opponents in
 the rear.  No secondaries are mounted, but we include 12 double heat sinks,
 giving us only only movement heat on an alpha strike.
 
 My Royal Night Hawk is a lighter, faster Crab, with good survivability thanks
 to forgoing an XL engine.  That's it, end of upgrade.  What, you wanted more?

 Never designed for combat, the Ostscout took the concept of a recon 'Mech to a
 whole 'nuther level!  This upgrade takes that concept and runs with it.  He .
 . . Might . . . Go . . . All . . . The . . . Way!
 
 An XL was required on the Ostie.  If we wanted to have anything looking like
 close to good armor and decent payload for weapons and electronics, that is.
 
 Since we were going whole hog with the XL engine, I bumped the speed up to
 9/14/9, making the Ostie one of the fastest and farthest jumping 'Mechs ever
 created.
 
 Endo-Steel was mandatory, and we used 5.5 tons of Ferro-Fibrous armor, giving
 us a pretty fair 83% of max armor coverage.  In order to ensure that our scout
 can always jump out of trouble, we give it ten double heat sinks.  Good news,
 though, all ten can fit into the engine!
 
 That leaves us with five tons left over.  We install a Beagle Active Probe, a
 Guardian ECM Suite, TAG, and a single CT mounted medium laser.  All that, and
 a movement of 9/14/9.  Holy jumping 'Mechs, Batman!
 
 But the price tag hurts to even look at.  Almost 7.9 million each--the price
 of many HEAVY 'Mechs.  Still, the dog can JUMP.  That's got to be worth
 something, right?

 ==Overview:==
 Another great Draconis 'Mech is the Panther.  This tough cat was designed for
 urban combat, using heavy armor (for a light), a couple of hard-hitting
 weapons, and jump jets.  But its speed was simply too slow for open-field
 maneuvers.  We can fix that.
 
 Endo-Steel starts the day once again, along with ten double heat sinks instead
 of the 13 singles of the old model.  We aren't going to have any room for
 Ferro, but we give the Panth 7 tons of standard, for 94% of max coverage.
 
 Using the tonnage freed by endo and the double heat sinks, we increase the
 engine size and add one more jump jet--giving us a movement of 5/8/5.
 
 We replace the old PPC with a new Extended-range model, and add Artemis IV to
 the SRM rack.  Having a half-ton left to spare, we CASE the left torso with
 the SRM ammo.
 
 A full jumping alpha overheats by 3, but that my friends is life.  This new
 Panther is one tough little ride that packs a heavy punch and has good
 mobility and speed.  Say hello to my little friend!

 Ok, ok, its a great 'Mech like it is.  Yeah, I get it.  But I wonder what we
 could do without that XL engine.
 
 Ok, it gets a standard engine, but keeps the speed at 7/11/7.  We include
 Endo-Steel and 6.0 tons of Ferro-Fibrous (90% of max) along with 10 double
 heat sinks.
 
 We got 5.5 tons left over.  So let's give it a Guardian ECM Suite and four
 medium lasers.  And that's the Spector.  Lacks the reach of the older model,
 but much more survivable, and insanely deadly in a knife fight.

 ==Overview:==
 Another SLDF 'Mech that entered only limited service, the Talon was designed
 to be a fire-support 'Mech for lances of Mongoose (Mongeese?).  Is it just me,
 or did the SLDF spend it's final years as an indecisive window-shopper?
 
 I really, really, don't like XL engines in my 'Mechs.  But for the Talon to do
 its job, it has to have one.  We keep the speed at 8/12/0, and use both
 Endo-Steel and 6.5 tons of Ferro-Fibrous (97% of max).  Twelve double heat
 sinks give us the ability to alpha strike and run without worries.
 
 We keep the right arm ER PPC (on a shoulder swivel that lets us fire into the
 rear), backing it up with two medium lasers and a TAG in the left arm (also
 flip capable) and a small laser in the head.
 
 I still don't like the Scrawny Chicken--er, I mean Talon II--but is does do
 what it was designed for, and that is always a plus.
