Well, I read through it once and I know not a whole lot has changed with how things are designed. You still do it the same way. The hardest thing will be now equipment has a date availability as well as a rating such as A, B, C, D for rarity. So, instead of saying Inner Sphere Level 2 to determine what you are allowed, you have to state Inner Sphere, 3050, Availability Rating B (or something). _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Nice thing about doing it as a TW method then would be that minimum year could be automagically generated to be the year of the highest equipment year
But I don't think I'll ever switch to the TW design method myself, so it would be nice if Mordel's could offer both by maybe having a checkbox on the main page for TW, which is saved in a user's cookie information or something as a preference. _________________ Colonel Ralgith t'Mayasara Blighted Sun Battalion 1st Company 'Ralgith's Renegades'

Well, what the levels used to be in the BMR was now reduced to 'Tournament legal' and 'Advanced' rules. The other values may either be calculated from the equipment list - the programs that find the most rare equipment shouldn't be too complicated if the values are included in the equipment list. Or you can let the author of the design fill these values just like it is done with 'Era' on the design submissions page now and let me to take points away for inserting wrong numbers (my favourite decision - simple and it suits my lazy nature) _________________ The dragon NEVER sleeps!

I thought I noticed something different when I was scanning the new submissions this morning.
I like this a lot better. Thanks. _________________ "The enemy's gate is down."

Pardon me for cross-quoting, but the discussion seemed better suited to this thread. You mentioned your queue is empty Mordel? I submitted a design last week, so if the queue is empty, there might be a problem leading to designs sort of falling into the ether as it were. _________________ Jarylan Blackwell

It's empty alright. Can you submit again and post here when you do? _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

I actually tried it myself and see where the error is. I'll update the code tomorrow and let you know. But you'll definitely need to resubmit. Need to do a little extra error capturing in a certain area. I shouldn't be returning SUCCESS when in fact it is not. Bad bad programmer... _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

It's cool. I'm just glad this got noticed. I figured there was a backlog or something. _________________ Jarylan Blackwell

Thank you for pointing this out. I uploaded files to correct this, so give it another shot and let me know how it goes. Anyone else that submitted one, if it hasn't been approved by now, it's lost and will need to be resubmitted. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

I actually found an archive of my old site and saw that I had a half dozen or so of my own designs up there plus quite a few posted by other folks. I've brought a few of mine over here. Wow, are they bad!!! _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

I just submitted a couple of designs, and I must say the process was rather painless and well done. Good job. _________________ one by one the rabbits are stealing my sanity....
