------------------------------------------------------------------------------
==Overview:==
The third member of the Classic 55s, the Wolverine was intended to function as
a high-speed recon unit that had significant armor and firepower. As time went
on, however, the Wolverine found itself being bested at this function by other
units employing more advanced technology.
As a result, when Goshen Armory Services decided to update the design, they
chose to focus on its combination of speed and firepower to make it a
high-speed fire support unit.
==Capabilities:==
As with the others, Endo Steel and double heat sinks were used to gain free
tonnage.
The AC/5 was downgraded to an AC/2. While this may seem unusual, it should be
noted that the weapon has two tons of ammo. This would allow the mech the
ability to carry some of the new specialty munitions, possibly making it a
lethal sniping platform.
Two more medium lasers and an SRM 2 were added, making the mech even more
lethal when engaging targets at short or medium range; this also more than
offsets the damage lost at these brackets by downgrading the AC.
CASE has also been added to provide additional protection for the mech.
==Deployment==
The garrisons on Goshen and Amiga have already ordered the bulk of the first
few runs.

This WVR has some serious short range firepower but for its firesupport role a single AC/2 is a bit ...little (?).
If you drop both SRM's for an LRM-10 you'll have better firesupport capability while still having your selfdefense lasers!
(Or maybe just put a second AC/2 in to make better use of your 90 shots of ammo!!)
I think i would prefer two AC/2's Just for the fun!
So far i like the SHD upgrade best! _________________ Reality is where the Pizza-man comes from!'Gucken, petzen, verpissen!' (Look at it, squeal it, get the hell away from it!) – Motto of the recon troops'Artillery doesn´t know friend or foe! They only know worthwhile targets!‘ – Kuritan Infantrist

This one seems like a decent variant for a militia or low budget merc unit... _________________ Karagin Only the dead have seen the end of war. - Plato

A Wolverine with paintpall gun and inferno deployment tool ... hmm ... not bad, but I would drop the small SRM to get the AC/5 back... or perhaps a LB 5-X. _________________ The dragon NEVER sleeps!

Not bad. Though I have never been a big fan of the AC2. _________________ Stinger If it's "creepy" to use the Internet, military satellites, and robot aircraft to find a house full of gorgeous young models so I can drop in on them unexpected, then FINE, I'm "creepy". Howard Wolowitz. BBT.
