I'm actually out of names for a change.
I'm trying to design a quad mech. Its two gimmics are as follows:
1. The mech moves 6/9/6. Four jets are in the rear legs, while the other two are in the side torsos.
2. Both front legs have an SRM 2 and two tons of ammo. In the event of an ammo explosion, the legs are designed so that they'll instantly amputate themselves in order to keep the explosion from spreading (piloting skill roll at a +2 modifier). Quads can keep going on only three legs, so the mech will still be in the fight.
It'll also have a turreted PPC, an ECM suite, and a pair of lasers as back-up weapons. I'm not quite sure which faction I'll say is producing this, but it'll probably be either the FWL or the FS.
Thanks. _________________ "I wish I could write as mysterious as a cat." -Edgar Allen Poe"I knew there was something special about you, but I never realized you were really a cat." Wolfwood to a random cat (Trigun)

Crickett
Jumping Spider
Mantis
Thoes are what poped into mind as I read the design. Hope they help _________________ Stinger If it's "creepy" to use the Internet, military satellites, and robot aircraft to find a house full of gorgeous young models so I can drop in on them unexpected, then FINE, I'm "creepy". For what I'm wanting, I've decided that a 50 ton jumping hovertank would work a lot better. Not only is it faster, but I don't have to worry about critical slot limitations. _________________ "I wish I could write as mysterious as a cat." -Edgar Allen Poe"I knew there was something special about you, but I never realized you were really a cat."
