At present, I'm looking to translate the following weapons over into MW:
HK MP5SD
HK MP5PDK
AK-47
Browning Automatic Rifle
Given their nature, would they be considered rifles or sub-machine guns?

The MP5 and variants would be SMGs. The AK and BAR are rifles.

The BAR would be better converted as MG or a LMG, it's not a true rifle in the sense of the word rifle.
The AK would be similar to the FedSun Zeus rifle.

True. LMG is probably a better classification for weapons like the Bren and the BAR.
