How I think it should be done. M,y biggest issue was the XL on a IIC. Not unheard of, but rather silly.

The MiPL and Flamer are for Anti-Infantry work. With the MiPL doing 2d6 and Flamer 4d6.

I went with the Ultra/2 and A-pods as a spoof of the Macross mecha upon which the Archer was based; the Mechwarrior 2 computer game used the Bombardier as a substitute for the Archer, and so I figured that this was only fitting.

The mecha in question had a weapons cluster mounted between the two missile launchers; this cluster consisted of a main gun (I don't remember the bore), a laser, a flamethrower, and a grenade launcher. It also had either some machine guns or some rockets mounted in the legs.

Well my only gripe was the UAC2.

Here is a question and I dont have my books nearby (and when my old comp fried it took my copy of HMPro with it and I cant find my CD so I cant reload it), But instead of the LRM 20's could you drop them and the UAC2 for 4 LRM15's with Artemis? Would give it a longer life on the field and a better damage ratio (not sure if others have noticed this but the missile to hit table favors the 15 rack slightly, giving it slightly better damage with rolls of 9 through 11, at least this is what my friends and I noticed).

Ya. the Gladiator is the Robotech name with the Spartan being the Macross name, which confuses many do to the fact that Robotech named the Macross Phalanx as the Spartan. *shrugs*

Which is why I ignore the cartoon and go of the Palladium RPG stats and info. They at least freely admit the US version is merging of three cartoons that have next to nothing in common. And they have a second in the back of the first RPG book explaining the differences in the mecha so if you want to use something different...
