well here i go again with these little guys....... lol.

mini missiles are in effect mrm variants of srm launchers. they opperate under the same rules as mrm's, suffering a +1 to-hit.

they come in three variants.....

damage: 2/missile

MM 4: heat 2: range 1/2/3: ton 1.5: crit 1: ammo 50
MM 8: heat 3: range 1/2/3: ton 3: crit 2: ammo 25
MM 12: heat 4: range 1/2/3: ton 4.5: crit 2: ammo 15

cost and bv.... [ launcher/ammo ]

MM 4: cost 30,000/4,500: BV 11/1
MM 8: cost 75,000/4,500: BV 21/3
MM 12: cost 102,500/4,500: BV 33/4

battlefield pourpose: similar to srm's, anti-infantry, anti-vehicle, and crit finders against mechs.

How'd I miss this one? I like it alot, it adds punch to MRM, and I love those.

i don't normally do this, but i'm gonna resurrect this topic for discussion.

The recent release of the TechManual might cause some renewed interest.

The idea behind the MMLs is an interesting one but it's kind of redundant. We have LRMs and SRMs and MRMs so why do we need another whole new missile system? And yes it's a system in that you are now forced to pick between having just LRMs or SRMs or getting both for really no loss in the long run...so why would standard LRMs and SRMs still be produced?

Your version at least has only it's own ammo and isn't trying to put the other types out of business.
