Taking command to the air may have it's positives... and negatives. Still this is a nice cretion that represents something not often seen.

A good idea. Unlike too many VTOLs, this has enough armor to survive a hit from most weapons, just in case. Fuel's a problem, though, being an ICE. Eventually, someone's going to catch your HQ on the ground and blow it away.

First version is great for a Militia on a high end planet. The second for a regular army. But you need some sort or ECM or sensor VTOL to cover it. Once they get an idea where the C&C is coming from I am throwing a lot of assets at it to kill it. ICE is a little slow, see if you can make it 10/15 as many hover and some Mechs can do 8/12 and you can not get away unless terrain interferes.
But the idea, price, and into are great. Fluff would make it incredible.
