In a lot of mechs I purchased, I discovered a bunch of minatures for the Battledroids era and some early Battletech mechs. I have yet to identify them all to my satisfactions, but so far I've ID'd the ones I've listed below. Some are very common and I'm sure the mechs specs are the same, but I'd like to use the mechs in some scenarios, but I don't have spec for the battledroids. (*) Can anybody help me out.

1. CST-3S Cestus 1984(*)
2. XBW-9J Crossbow 1985(*)
3. FIR-7B Firebee(*)
4. FLC-4N Falcon(*)
5. GLD-3R Gladiator(*)
6. VLC-6N Vulcan(*)
7. Archer (Early casting Archer is smaller, and has the cockpit up at the top of the mech rather than the belly.
8. Flea (198?)
9. Bombardier(*) Probably the same
10. BTX-7K Battleax (*)
11. Pegasus Hover (*) looks different
12. Striker

Some of them never changed from what is in the TROs, like the Flea and the Bombadier, Falcon and couple of others. What changed was the artwork on the Falcon and some of the others.

The stats for the ones you mention were found in StarDate/StarDrive magazines. These were at one time the offical FASA magazines that supported BT, ST and other FASA games.

Some were only found in early issues of Battletechnology Magazine when William Keith was writting for it.

The Archer you mention is more of straight take off of the Robotech/Macross mecha, so it's stats are the same as we know the Archer by, just the miniature changed.

The Flea and Longbow were both in an Issue of StarDate and the each had their own apperances in FASA products, with the Longbow coming out in the scenario pack Soreben's Sabers (along with a much forgotten aerospace fighter) and the Flea came out in the Wolf's Dragoons sourcebook. Along with the Falcon, Firefly and Hoplite.

I have some of the stats, I can email you the HMP files for these mechs if you would like.

I am still looking for some myself, like the ORIGINAL Behemoth, not the one in TRO3055 (neither version is the original) and a couple of others.

Some of the Battledroids stats didn't change, what changed was the record sheets and the rules.

Yes, I

I would like any stats or info you could provide me. The original Behemouth looks pretty cool and huge. I wasn't lucky enough to find one of those.

Thanks

Don

The Cestus is found in Space Gamer #79

Falcon, Gladiator and Battleax are in Battletechnology #0101, 0201 and 0203, respectively.

The Flea and Longbow were in StarDate 0302.

Don't know of any of the others, any info on original releases would be much appreciated.

I heard that some of the stats were released on the back of some of the earliest miniature packages, can anyone confirm that?

I can. I know a guy who had some of these. Jerk sold them on ebay though, so I didn't get them like I wanted. Heh. They are hard to read though, small print and all... but looked similiar to TRO format from what little I saw.

Hrumm, the one from TechFactory? Thats in my HM Pro files...

Of course then there is THIS from TRO: Legends (Which I now maintain)
Which is just a workup from the TRO 3055 Fluff... and may/may not be accurate.

That one from Legends isn't the same as the original Battledroid Behemoth.

The weapons had four Large Lasers or ACs depending on which version was quoted.

Would be interested in what you have as well.

If I can find him again (I moved, but I still go back that area and visit my friends) I'll see if he has ANY left. But man, that was... 5 or 6 years ago before my daughter was born... so I doubt it.
