==Overview:==
In early 3065 after they IS had defeated clan Smoke Jaguar with operation Bull
Dog, Clan Wolf in Exile and the Kell Hounds started to secure the Arch-Royal
Defense Cordon, it also became quickly apparent that they were going to need
to improve revenue and relations with all of the IS. First thing they did is
to contact the Wolf's Dragoon's and offer a technology exchange, for helping
them retool their 'Mech production facilities, so they can once again start
producing front line 'Mechs. In an exchange that requires the Wolf and Kell
hounds to send every 5th of each unit produced to the Dragoons for a set
number of years. It appears that the first 2 of every unit are going to the
Wolf in Exile and the third to the Hounds. It appears that the 4th will go for
sale around the IS. As a joint decision between the Hounds and the Wolf in
Exile a medium weight Light - Medium 'Mech hunter was designed with the Prime
configuration emphasizing speed, agility and accuracy. In a tribute to the
Late Natasha Kerensky the Black Widow was born.
==Capabilities:==
A Fairly standard design the Black Widow is fast and extremely agile. The
Prime configuration mounts a pair of Clan Large Pulse Lasers and a pair of
Streak SRM 4 Launchers, only one ton of ammo back up the launchers but should
be enough for its primary mission. The biggest surprise is the actual design
of the Black Widow. It's a 'Mech with very feminine lines and design to it.
Though there is a prime and it has shown up in both the Dragoon and Comstar
militaries; there seems to be at this point an extremely hidden alternate
program.
