If so, can you tell me what the MAD-5L has for BV?
One of my PBeM players entered it into DB and got a different BV than HMPro.

Combat operations book has listings of mechs, vehicles, BA, ships fighters, ... available to major factions with BV and cost calculated. The BV presented comes from that table.

Ahhh, OK...I thought it was some other DB option.
Does DB list how it arrives at the BV? If so, can you post it here so I can compare it to HMPro?

Maybe tomorrow  , If HMPro offers something like BV breakdown option in DB than you may compare the numbers and try to find out where they differ.

It's a mathematical formula. The numbers assigned to each item may be illogical, but the number you arrive at using the formula is 100% logical.

There are a lot of flaws in the BV system and hence folks don't like it.
Also have seen games get picked via straight weight or role and still come out close in the BV number yet BV NEVER played a role.
So you may want to wait until Randall fixes the loopholes and flaws in the BV system for what ever it is you are doing here.
