I don't have HMBA, so, anyone that does, I need a design.

Criteria

Tech- IS

Function- Boarding Actions/Ship Security. Internal.

Movement- Just keep up with the footsloggers. No JJs or anything fancy needed.

Armor- As much as you can get

Size- Your pick, but not much larger than an elemental.

Weapons- Mainly rapid fire. Its ment to shred infantry, but also take apart IS BA and Elementals. Nothing that will punch through my bulkheads please. (Ie- If your using any mech scale weapons, it should be pulse; tears apart infantry and a missed shot isn't catostrophic).

Anything that infantry can carry (Ie- support MG, Man Pack PPCs) are fine cept for Missiles and infernos, I don't wanna see the food storage freezers from the mess hall, nor do I want melted, twisted hallway doors and floors and walls. Grenades would be great.

Notes: Ment to work in squads of four.

That is all.

I dont have HMBA yet but I do have the design factory for BA for right now. Thisis my first besign with it. Its a heavy so you May want to adjust accordingly. I tried to add things that would be useful to a marine. Anywya Unfluffed so you can get all of that

I have never designed BA so it may be weak on armor. (not entirely sure how to use the system yet.)

Very nice, both of them. I do ask a couple things of Warhammer

1) What is this 'yar' you speak of?
2) You usually have a more inventive name...oh well...

Are those mech-scale or infantry scale machineguns?

1) Yar: used as "alright".

Example

Person 1: "Let's go over there!"
Person 2: "Yar."

Person 1: "Build me a weapon, that I may crush my enemies!"
Person 2: "Yar."

2) I can come up with a better name if you'd like. Just give me a general theme (arthurian legends, greek gods, Davion-style, etc).

3) The guns are 'mech-scale. The suit can also hold infantry weapons with the articulated gloves it has.

seems there is 2 life support systems but i guess it depends. Although i would probably swap it for an antipersonal weapon mount and a battle claw if i could fit.

Love the armor on that thing though. Heck you can take a PPC and still stand !

There are two Extended Life Support Systems. Each extends the time the suit can maintain life-sustaining functions in hazardous environments (such as a vacuum, a poisonous atmosphere, etc) by 12 hours, up from the standard 12 hours.

This suit can sustain the wearer's life for 36 hours in a hostile environment.

Half the point of the suit is the size: with a one-ton battlesuit, you can block a corridor pretty effectively. Even if the suit is knocked out of action, you still have a very large, heavily armored wall impeding progress. This will give the defenders a (hopefully) decisive advantage.

To the criteria, are you sure that it doesn't need JJs? Having them seems good idea to me (not much, just to allow limited movement in space)

Which design are you going with?

Yours. Dual MGs allow it to rip apart infantry and BA apart, and the strengh to take so many hits makes it lethal, especially in squads. I wonder if BA can use the burst fire rules...

The extra life support is nice, in case my KF drive or engines decide to leak, or if the Life Support on the ship goes out.

On the name part, come up with any Lyran or Davion name.

Also, 'mission equipment'. Im not terribly familiar with the BA construction rules, is this like omni-space?

To stinger- A solid design, however, the extra walking MP isn't worth the armor or payload comprismise.

JJs are auxillery. The suit is ment to be deployed INSIDE the vessel, basically as a super-marine or really nasty security.

Mission equipment: breaching charges, flashbangs, etc. Perhaps even tools, so the suit can be used to aid in hazardous repairs.

A 20kg riot shield would make the thing even nastier.

It means defender in German right? Nice name.

That shield idea is pretty lethal...as if the PBI didn't have enough on their hands with the suit...

Speaking of hands, how evil would it be with dual infantry-portable flamers?

Mission Equipment can be handy...

Yes, the name means Defender in German. I've found a nice little German translator online (even does basic sentences), and have been looking for opportunities to use it.

Flamers? You have problems with alien infestation?

Those may be really evil, but I don't want to see what all the burning fuel may do without gravity.
