Overview
With preasure building up in the Inner Sphere the Taurian Concordat was determined to not be dragged into the fighting. However, the Magistry of Canopous, and the previous leader of the TC, both seemed willing to join sides with the Cappellen Confederation.
This was viewed as extermely dangerous. However, what was done was done, and now the Taurian Concordat needs weapons to defend its vital resources. To accomplish this, something simple and easily mass produced was needed. Something capable of a strong showing with a powerful attack.
The answer came unexpectedly one morning when a designer was watching his cat out the window. He lived on a small farm which was no longer used for anything but his horses and cats. Suddenly a small weasel family creature, the fisher cat came bouncing along the yard. The fishercat is a vicious animal, yet it is stupid and not the fastest animal walking, or the most graceful jumping, though it moves by hoping forward in short quick hops. However, it was a vicious animal, and could move quickly in a close fight. His cats ran from it, moving away gracefully, and the designer reallized what was needed. The FC-1 Fishercat.
Capabilities
The Fishercat takes after its name sake. Its primary form of movement are short hops made by the innovative mechanical jump boosters, a unique idea that the Taurian Concordate engineers were quickly able to make. Although the machine is far from graceful, it can hide under water and use the jump boosters to launch out in suprise attacks, giving it a powerful advantage.
The fire power of the FC-1 is litterly that, fire power. Two heavy flamers, loaded with inferno fuel act as the primary weapons, backed up by 20 MRMs for saturation and machine guns to defend against infantry. The arms are also heavily armored to allow for physical attacks, the halmark of the Fishercat itself.
The fuel for the Flamers has a reserve tank, which is also linked to the engine. In times of need the powerful GM Diesel can pump in the inferno fuel instead of its own diesel fuel to make a supercharge. (RULES NOTE: Treat engine as a fusion with a SuperCharger). This is highly dangerous and risky, but can be worth it in times of stress. The unexpected burst of speed can also startle opposing MechWarriors and make them miss their shot.
Alone, or in teams, the Fishercat is not a machine to be messed around with. The unit is strong, and is a real feather in the cap of Taurian Concordat engineering.

P.S. this was made by hand so any mistakes are my own mathematical faults. Also I can't calc cost or BV by hand so I will wait till I get back to my computer to do that. Thank you!
