Dear GOD it was an awesome concert! Kreiger played a lot of the early stuff, some of his own new stuff, as well as the great ones like "Spanish Caravan" "LA Woman" "Alabama Song" "Break on Through" and the best part was the finale...a 22 minute version of Light My Fire. The only other song I would have liked to have hear was Roadhouse Blues, but oh well.
Robby Kreiger himself did about 1/3 the singing...but most of it was done by his son who really can do a good Morrison impersonation. The bass player also did 2 songs. Between the 3 of them they could do almost any song.
The 22 min. version of Light My Fire was primarly jamming...which totally rocked. All the members of Kreiger's group are incredibly talented, espically his son who also plays guitar.
Overall it was an awesome concert with a lot of energy. Crowd was pretty good for it being in a bar...no one got killed...but 2 girls (obviously high on something) got kicked out by the opening act's singer. The opening act was "Low Flying Owls" pretty good group. Ah, what the hey...they were awesome too!
